The Grand Panorama
Plans Released 2010
Location
The Grand Panorama is situated a town and seaside resort with a population of 13,500, situated terrace-like on a small bay on the Black Sea, 31 km North of Varna.
The exceptional view of the town from the sea impressed the great Ovid who exclaimed: "O white stone town, I salute thee for thy inimitable beauty!"
After the Balkan War in 1913 it was included in the territories of Romania. Struck by the natural beauty of the place Queen Maria built a palace and a botanical garden, a chapel and a villa complex for the Romanian aristocrats with the town being regarded as a luxurious resort.
After 1940 Balchik was again included in Bulgarian territory with its many historic and natural attractions, including a 4km coastal pathway for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.
In more recent times, the development of the Town has been at a more sedate rate than other coastal regions and sympathetically absorbed into the natural contours of the land. The potential of this Town has even attracted Sir Norman Foster to become involved in a project in the locale.
Nearby sees the completion of a Gary Player Golf Course and complex with Ian Woosnam's branded complex located within the same vicinity. Together with plans for a new airport and Formula 1 Grand Prix Racing circuit, Balchik is intent on achieving what commentators believe, and that is that within the next decade, Balchik will become the "Monte Carlo of the Black Sea".
Occupying an elevated site overlooking the new EU sponsored Marina (currently under development); Blue Water will be releasing its prestigious Grand Panorama complex.
The complex will include 125 luxury apartments all with sea views and with facilities unparalleled in the region creating the ultimate lifestyle statement.
