Location

The town is situated on the Bristol Channel, south west of Bristol and is well known for it's sandy beaches. Home to Isambard Kingdom Brunel and his family, the town was once a centre of industry including helicopter production.

Today the town supports light industry and distribution depots, functioning in part as a dormitory town for Bristol.

Regeneration projects for the area include, unveiling of Knightstone Island for residential & commercial purposes during the summer 2007, regeneration of Birnbeck Pier & Tropicana which are major landmarks on Weston seafront and plans are well underway to create a Severn Barrage which will have a huge upward impact on property prices within the town.
